Children from Afar
All Together in Dignity (ATD) Fourth World Philippines in cooperation with Museo Pambata presents a special photo exhibit...
"Children from Afar"
by Francois Phliponeau
November 12, 2009, 9 a.m.
Museo Pambata (Karapatan Hall)
The exhibit features candid photographs taken of children living in Bolivia, Peru, Central Africa, Madagascar and Europe; allowing the viewers to virtually experience the contrast between the very deprived environment of these children and the dignity that comes out from their behavior.
All the photographs were taken in countries where the ATD full time volunteers work hand in hand with families from marginalized communities.
The exhibit will run from November 12 to 24.
Museo Pambata is open daily (except Mondays)
Tuesday – Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1-5p.m.
Museo Pambata is located on Roxas Blvd. corner South Drive, Manila (beside the US Embassy).
Francois Phliphoneau is a full time ATD volunteer and a veteran professional photographer who has chronicled beautiful and touching photographs of ATD's programs and events in various countries. www.efpaix.com
